GEOBRIDGE Corporation, a leading information security technology and consulting firm, is seeking an Information Security Consultant to conduct consulting engagements for financial services clients and other information security related opportunities. We have positions available in the Northern Virginia area. The position will require occasional travel.
The successful candidate for this position should have either a CISSP, CISM or QSA (other relevant certifications considered) and should have a minimum of three years experience in information security or assurance consulting.
Additional requirements include: excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work well with all levels of management, good critical thinking skills and ability to do both analysis and synthesis, college degree or relevant experience and credentials.
The following are pluses: experience with cryptographic hardware and/or software, experience in the financial services industry (esp. with GLBA, Red Flag, TG-3, PCI, or AML), experience in the healthcare industry (esp. with HIPAA), computer programming experience (esp. software engineering, multiple platforms), and computer forensic training and experience.
Typical duties may include: on-site consultation, development of documentation,
presentation of briefings, review and analysis of client-provided documents, conducting client interviews,
research, writing of articles, whitepapers, proposals, reports,
assisting senior staff in advanced research and forensic tasks, and general administration tasks.
