Tom Mitchell, Executive Chairman and Founder
Tom Mitchell is an accomplished entrepreneur, business executive, and well-respected leader with 40+ years of experience. Tom founded GEOBRIDGE and has served as its CEO for the past twenty years. Since the inception of GEOBRIDGE in 1997, Tom has instilled trustworthiness, respect, fairness, and reliability into a company that builds and provides quality products and solutions. GEOBRIDGE emerged as one of the first information security solutions providers to support cryptography and payment applications for payment processors, financial institutions, and retail organizations.
Before founding GEOBRIDGE Corporation, Tom worked as part of several international organizations’ leading sales teams and business development teams in global initiatives.
Tom earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from The College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Laura Way, CEO and President
Laura Way is an experienced senior executive and leader with more than 20 years of sales, management, and operational experience. As CEO, Laura is responsible for corporate strategy and direction, and facilitates corporate activities in marketing, sales and strategic partnerships. Laura’s relentless energy and commitment to customers to provide exceptional customer service, has led to significant company growth.
Prior to being promoted to CEO, Laura held various executive level positions within GEOBRIDGE, during which she managed operations, sales, and partners. Prior to joining GEOBRIDGE in 2003, Laura worked in business development, marketing, and sales for various organizations in the telecom and warranty industries.
Laura earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia.
Jason Way, CTO
Jason Way has nearly 20 years of information security experience in the payments industry. As CTO, Jason is responsible for the direction and technical operations of GEOBRIDGE’s services and solutions. This includes overall delivery of services and solutions at GEOBRIDGE including product development, cryptographic development, consulting and compliance assessment services, and product support. Jason leads the team to identify solution requirements to drive and support new product delivery with our customers.
Jason is actively sought after in the industry to provide cryptography and key management consulting. He is an active voting participant with the Accredited Standards Committee X9 and maintains various industry-related certifications including CISSP, PCI QSA, and CTGA certifications.
Jason earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
Amy Lowell, Director of Operations
Amy has over 25 years of experience in corporate and non-profit industries. Her breadth of experience includes business development, sales, marketing, operations and event management.
As the Director of Operations, Amy oversees the day to day operational activities of the organization and works with the Executive Management team to make strategic decisions for the business.
Prior to GEOBRIDGE, she worked as the Executive Director at the Clarke County Education Foundation.
Amy earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications Public Relations from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia.
